Elon Musk's purchase of the social app, Twitter, has had many people up in arms and he has only had two weeks on the job. From laying almost half of the site's workforce to charging verified users a monthly fee to keep their blue checks people are leaving with no hesitation. The latest? Whoopi Goldberg.

I’m getting off today, because I just feel like it’s so messy and I’m tired of now having had certain kinds of attitudes blocked, and now they’re back on."The “certain kinds of attitudes” the actress references are about a reported increase in racist and antisemitic posts on the platform.Her decision to leave the platform also comes after comedian Kathy Griffin's Twitter account was permanently suspended. Griffin changed her original Twitter name to “Elon Musk” and almost immediately was thrown off of the site. She then logged into her late mother’s account and tweeting at Musk: “Please do a better job running this company. It used to mean something.”The Tesla CEO announced Sunday, “Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying ‘parody’ will be permanently suspended.”Goldberg wrapped up her announcement on Monday's show with her opinion on the current state of social media. “People keep saying it’s free speech, but all speech is not free speech. Some speech is not okay free speech. So everybody has to agree on that, but if people keep saying ‘You hurt my free speech” it’s going to be a problem. You know what? This is our problem. But it ain’t my problem today because I’m out.”
