Snoop Dogg is canceling his upcoming 30th-anniversary Hollywood Bowl show to stand in solidarity with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

“We regret to inform you that due to the ongoing strike and the uncertainty of when this will be over, we need to cancel the Hollywood Bowl show,” the rapper shared in a statement via Instagram. “We continue to stand in solidarity with all of our brothers and sisters in the WGA and SAG/AFTRA during this difficult time and remain hopeful that the AMPTP will come back to the negotiating table with a REAL proposal and we can all get back to work.”

The shows, set to be produced by Dr. Dre in celebration of Doggystyle‘s 30th anniversary, were originally scheduled for June 27 and 28. Replacement dates were scheduled for October 20 and 21, but strike negotiations are not going anywhere fast.

Writers have been on strike since May and SAG-AFTRA voted to go on strike on July 14 after negotiations with Hollywood studios and streaming services failed to produce a deal.

So far there has been no word of a resolution.
