Phylicia Rashad Denounced As Howard University's Dean For Tweet Supporting Bill Cosby

Howard University has decided to take a step back from Phylicia Rashad by denouncing her as the newly appointed dean at the institution. This decision came after Rashad tweeted out in support of Bill Cosby shortly after his release from prison on Wednesday. The University put out a response on their Twitter page addressing the issue.https://twitter.com/howardu/status/1410429657455988737?s=21Rashad, who played Cosby’s wife on the hit show “The Cosby Show” tweeted which has since been deleted, “FINALLY!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected.”She would also tweet out that she supports victims who have come out against sexual violence and she didn't intend to hurt anyone with her tweet.https://twitter.com/PhyliciaRashad/status/1410336268995776518?s=20 Bill Cosby spent two years in prison after he was found guilty of raping Andrea Constand in 2004. He is also registered as a sex offender for life. The actor continues to maintain his innocence.
