Mariah Carey just defrosted less than 24 hours ago and she is facing legal troubles over her hit single All I Want for Christmas is You.

According to TMZ, Carey is being taken to court by men who claim they wrote a song of the same name.

Andy Stone and Troy Powers have sued Carey for $20 million in damages over the song. This is not the first time the pair have begun a legal battle with the Queen of Christmas. Last year, Stone made the claim that she copied their track after their song got extensive airplay. The song in question eventually made it on the Billboard charts in the 1993 Christmas season.

In the new case's documents, Stone and Powers claim there are substantial similarities in the lyrical hook, melody, and overall feel of Carey's song compared to theirs. It added that All I Want for Christmas is You, "palmed off these works with her incredulous origin story, as if those works were her own. Her hubris knowing no bounds, even her co-credited songwriter doesn't believe the story she has spun. This is simply a case of actionable infringement."

The track has consistently re-entered the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 every year since 2017.
