Jay-Z Adds Iconic Off-White Lexus To 'Book Of Hov' Exhibit

Jay-Z has added another iconic installation to his Book of Hov exhibit at the Brooklyn Public Library that honors the most captivating accolades of his career. The most recent installation features the 1993 Lexus GS 300 from Jay-Z's classic 1996 “Dead Presidents” video.

The off-white Lexus has been an article of reference throughout the Brooklyn native's career. In tracks like “Can I Live” and “Empire State of Mind”.

In a release, Senior Manager for Lexus Advertising and Media says the brand privy in Hip Hop lifestyle is honored to collaborate during the 50th anniversary of the genre. “The vehicle display is recognition of the mutual respect and admiration between Lexus and JAY-Z, whose brilliance and contributions to culture extend far beyond hip-hop.”

The exhibit has been extended through the end of the year and is expected to close on Jay Z’s birthday, Dec.4. It debuted this past summer and spans across eight rooms in the library featuring the rapper's most iconic artifacts.

"We're excited to partner with Lexus to bring JAY-Z's iconic "Off-White Lexus" to The Book of HOV. The new installation adds another element of JAY-Z's career to the exhibit that visitors can enjoy,” stated Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez.

During the span of the exhibit, it has hosted over 250,000 people and increased the number of library card sign-ups with 21,000 new accounts.
