The Grammy-winning singer released a booty-bouncin’ single that will surely be the hottest music video of the summer. Bringing back the essence of the 2000s and featuring her voluptuous body in butt cutouts, bodysuits, and leather bras, Ciara definitely got her audience’s attention. Just a couple of hours before the video premiered on YouTube, she made an Instagram post teasing the music video with the caption “18 years later… Back on top of the hood again. CiCi 2.0. Make That Thang #JUMP”. The picture showed Ciara showing off her colorful booty shorts that had her nickname “CiCi” written on the back as she sat on top of a car hood.https://www.instagram.com/p/CfwUywBLGmu/The twerk-alicious music video that featured the hip-hop group Coast Contra gave us a similar feel to her hits like “Goodies” and “1,2 Step.” While promoting her newly released song, Ciara told her Instagram audience that her mission is to make the world dance. The video starts off with Ciara dancing with the Winston Salem State cheer team. Once the song begins, Ciara dances throughout different scenes (too many to count!) for the duration of the four minutes. Different scenes include parking lots, power lines, the beach, street intersections, and other aesthetically pleasing locations. It was difficult to keep my eyes off of the screen because of how engaging Ciara’s music video was. With the smooth transitions and how seamlessly the camera moved with the dancers, it is no surprise to learn the amount of work that was put into the video. “Jump” is the R&B singer’s first single after signing a new label deal with Republic Records and Uptown Records in partnership with her own Beauty Marks Entertainment back in June. In a press statement, Ciara expressed that this new project marks an exciting new chapter in her music career. She stated, “I am grateful to be able to continue my mission of making the world dance with a team I admire, who are at the forefront of empowering artists.” With that said, let’s make sure we help Ciara reach her goal and make that thang “Jump”! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OByv5luEjc
